magazine x ad layout

I had an ad project to create for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters non-profit organization. I thought this organization is cool to exist for those who need an adult role model and have people to believe in them. I figured it would be best to use a happy youthful image for the ad. I also created a magazine layout to display the vertical Big Brothers and Big Sisters ad.

Beauty of Life is one of my favorite projects I have done for my graphic design studio class. The challenge was to choose either an editorial magazine or create a 16 page booklet. I went with designing a 16 page booklet to be compiled of memorable life quotes based off a 2020 South Korean TV series called Hi, Bye Mama. I picked some of my favorite quotes about the beauty of life and struggles we go through along the way as well and captured my thoughts relating to the quote/expanding on it and added minimal illustrations that went along with it. I enjoyed opening my creative side and challenging myself to minimal line art.
